Child-Friendly Worship
Children are a gift from God, and they are an integral part of the worshiping community of Trinity. Because of this, we try to facilitate ways for families to bring their young children to worship. We encourage children, youth, and their families to be active participants.
Trinity has activity bags, and books available for children to use during worship services. Children are often invited to join the pastor for a Children’s Message before the pastor’s sermon. We also welcome children and their families to serve as greeters, ushers, and scripture readers.
Nursery care is available on Sunday mornings (September-May) from 8:10-10:45 a.m. for children age three and under. A paid nursery care provider, along with volunteers, provide a safe, nurturing, and grace-filled experience for our youngest children.
Faith Formation Classes
Children ages three and older have the opportunity to attend faith formation classes on Sunday mornings.
Faith formation classes meet September through April. A donation of $25 per student is suggested to help offset the cost of supplies and curriculum.
To register for faith formation, please visit our registration page.
Sundays: 8:50 A.M.–9:35 A.M.

Early Childhood Enrichment Programs for 2022-2023 School Year
Trinity offers faith-based enrichment programs for children 18 months-3 years old.
Music and Movement ▪ A parent and child class for children 1-2 years old. Children move and groove as they explore music with song, dance, and instruments.
Come and Play ▪ A 1-2 day/week drop-off class for children with birthdates between 9.1.19 and 5.31.20. Children are provided a warm and safe Christian environment to play with other children. This is a great precursor to preschool!
Come and Play morning classes are full for the 2022-2023 school year.
There is still space in our early afternoon class (12:00-2:00 p.m.) for Spring 2023.
Open Gym ▪ A winter drop-in opportunity for parents and their young children to come in and use our equipment in a large safe space. The area is supervised by a staff member, and a story time is offered during the last half hour.
Open Gym begins Wednesday, January 11, 9:00-10:20 a.m. No pre-registration is required.
Fee: $3 for one child; $2 for each additional child from the same family.
Email Marlee Knickerbocker, ECE Coordinator, for more information or to register for any of Trinity’s Early Childhood Enrichment Programs.
