Learn more about Trinity Lutheran

Our Mission

Trinity Lutheran Church upholds the Good News of Jesus Christ as God’s gift to all people. We believe that God values and embraces each person as a beloved child, that the Spirit gives a diversity of gifts for the common good, and that Jesus Christ calls us to work for justice.

As a community of faith, we know that the world is often an unloving place and that the experience of alienation is all too common. We rejoice in the manner in which diversity has enriched, nurtured, and challenged the life and ministry we share in Christ. To that end, Trinity is committed to be a community of inclusivity and welcome.

Our History

Reconciling In Christ

A lively vision is the hallmark of this faith community and has been since its birth. Back in 1954, 225 people chartered themselves a vision of what Trinity Lutheran Church could be.

Their passion for the ministry of all believers, coupled with the guidance of founding pastor Luther Borgen, launched the vision embracing Bible study and generosity to others. By the leading of the Spirit, the vision called for ever-expanding facilities to accommodate growth. And by the gifts of faithful and committed members and gifted, competent ministry leaders the vision continues to draw us forth into the future.

Today, blessed richly by the heritage of 50 years and entering into a bright and engaging future, we again ask the question: What is God’s vision for Trinity Lutheran Church? We’ve summed it up as, “Serving in Christ’s Love and sharing the good news.” People have a desperate need to know Christ’s love. Our calling is to help people connect with the grace of God through involvement with our loving God in worship, service, mission, and fun.

Our mission of serving in the ways of Christ makes a difference in the life of people and communities. We invite you to visit our congregation in person.
