Trinity is excited to announce the hiring of a new permanent organist. Beginning in September, we welcome Brian Pressler as Trinity’s organist.

At the June 16 Congregational Meeting, a quorum of voting members overwhelmingly affirmed the recommendation of the Call Committee by voting to call Pastor Patrick Patterson as the new Lead Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church with a vote of 255/8.

The Call Committee continues to make progress towards finding a new lead pastor for Trinity. The Northwest Synod of Wisconsin provided the committee a deep and varied pool of candidates.

Trinity’s Annual Church Picnic will be held on Sunday, May 19. Food will be available beginning at 10:30 A.M. Carnival games and inflatables start at 10:45 A.M.

On Sunday, January 6, you are invited to a special worship and artistic experience, “Drawn to the Word,” at Trinity’s 9:45 A.M. worship service. Within the hour of worship, artist and pastor Paul Oman will paint a larger-than-life sized mural before our eyes, inspired by the gospel text and worship unfolding around him.

On December 23, the Trinity Choir will perform the Christmas Cantata “A Night For Rejoicing” by Lee and Susan Dengler at the 8:15 A.M. and 9:45 A.M. Worship Services. This cantata tells the age-old story of Jesus’ coming to earth which culminates in that glorious “night for rejoicing.” Please note that there will be no 10:30 A.M. worship service on December 23.

Once upon a time, there was a man who made an appeal to W.C. Fields for money for a special cause. W.C. Fields said that he would need to consult his lawyer about making a financial contribution, and if his lawyer said yes, he would get another lawyer!

For 17 years, Shirley Sands has gifted Trinity with her musical leadership and now has announced her retirement effective October 28. On Sunday, October 21, you are invited after worship to a reception in her honor in the Trinity Room. Come and thank Shirley in person, sing her a song of gratitude (in words or notes), and help the congregation give her a sending off as dynamic as her leadership!
