Summer Opportunities
Luther Park Bible Camp
Trinity Lutheran Church will be at Luther Park Bible Camp at the following dates:
Day Camp: July 8-12 | Grades K-3
While kids can register for camp throughout the summer, we encourage you to send your child to camp during these weeks so they can build relationships with their peers from Trinity, as well as with new friends from surrounding churches.
Find more information for Luther Park day camps or overnight camps at Luther Park’s website.
Trinity encourages families to send their kids to Luther Park by paying 25% of the registration cost for one session per child each summer. Use the discount code TLEC at registration. Contact Heather Day for information about further financial assistance.
Other Summer Opportunities
For additional summer opportunities for children, youth, and families, check out our Summer 2024 Programming Brochure.
Child-Friendly Worship
Children are a gift from God, and they are an integral part of the worshiping community of Trinity. Because of this, we try to facilitate ways for families to bring their young children to worship. We encourage children, youth, and their families to be active participants.
Trinity has activity bags, and books available for children to use during worship services. Children are often invited to join the pastor for a Children’s Message before the pastor’s sermon. We also welcome children and their families to serve as greeters, ushers, and scripture readers.
Nursery care is available on Sunday mornings (September-May) from 8:10-10:45 a.m. for children age three and under. A paid nursery care provider, along with volunteers, provide a safe, nurturing, and grace-filled experience for our youngest children.
Faith Formation
Trinity offers a variety of faith formation opportunities for children from birth through high school, including:
Frolic Family Class
Sunday School
First Sundays (Family Faith Formation)
Connections (Pre-Confirmation)
Confirmation
High School Youth Group
Most faith formation opportunities meet on either Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings, September through April.

Early Childhood Enrichment Programs for 2024-2025 School Year
Trinity offers faith-based enrichment programs for children 18 months-3 years old.
Music and Movement ▪ A parent and child class for children 18-36 months old at the start of the session. Children move and groove as they explore music with song, dance, and instruments.
Come and Play ▪ A 1-2 day/week drop-off class for children who are 2 years old by September 1, 2024. Children are provided a warm and safe Christian environment to play with other children. This is a great precursor to preschool!
Open Gym ▪ A winter drop-in opportunity for parents and their young children to come in and use our equipment in a large safe space. The area is supervised by a staff member, and a story time is offered during the last half hour.
Open Gym begins Monday, January 6, 10:00-11:30 a.m. No pre-registration is required.
Fee: $3 for one child; $2 for each additional child from the same family.
Email Marlee Knickerbocker, ECE Coordinator, for more information or to register for any of Trinity’s Early Childhood Enrichment Programs.
Fall 2024 Registration begins Tuesday, May 7 at 8:00 a.m. More information here.
